Questions

New-Build Lobbies & Developers, answered.

Can you cover a double-height lobby wall in one image?

Yes. Height is handled with a lift and the artwork prints as a single continuous image, so there are no panel seams visible from the entrance.

Do you coordinate with the GC and design team?

Yes. We work from designer files and to the construction schedule, and can phase work across floors so occupied areas stay usable.

Is wall preparation included?

Yes. Patching, skim coat and priming are part of the scope when the wall needs them, so you are not coordinating a separate painter before the print.

Will it hold up in garages, breezeways and amenity floors?

With an exterior-grade protective coating, yes. There is no adhesive layer to fail in humidity, which is the usual reason common-area vinyl lifts.

Can artwork be replaced when the building rebrands?

Yes. Repaint and reprint. That is a meaningful difference for boards and managers planning refurbishment cycles.

In detail

More on lobby murals for developers and condo boards

Large-format walls where seams are unacceptable

Lobby and amenity walls are the first thing a buyer or tenant sees, and they are usually too wide for vinyl to cover without joints. On a double-height lobby wall, panel seams are visible from the entrance. Direct printing runs the artwork continuously at any width, and follows plaster texture and board joints instead of bridging over them.

In shared spaces the durability argument matters as much as the look. Common-area vinyl in a humid garage or a breezeway lifts at the edges, and once one panel goes the board is looking at a repair, not a touch-up.

What developers and property managers print

  • Statement murals in condo and apartment lobbies
  • Amenity floors: gym, spa, lounge, coworking and kids rooms
  • Leasing office and model unit feature walls during sales and leasing
  • Parking garage wall art, level identification and wayfinding graphics
  • Corridor and elevator-bay artwork on multiple floors

One vendor for prep, print and finish

On a construction or renovation program the value is not only the artwork, it is not having to coordinate a painter, a printer and an installer. We patch, skim and prime the wall, print, and apply protective coating where the wall needs it, then clean up.

We work to a GC schedule, coordinate with the design team from their files, carry the insurance the building asks for, and can phase multi-floor work so occupied floors stay usable.
